What is it that you saw first? – Strands of darkness? – Rays of light? – Intertwined chaos? – Shimmering sparkles? – What did you notice first? – The sun. The leaves. The water. The trees. The vines. The blue sky. A big tangled mess. Nature’s beauty. – When was the last time you stopped to look, to feel and to listen to see where your mind automatically goes first? – What is your mind’s default setting?
We are all here to learn. grow. transform. and heal. So when the lesson you’ve obviously been brought here to learn continues to slap you in the face with each sting more intense leaving gaping wounds in your heart , you think why THIS lesson? My heart is overflowing with love and kindness. I’m a giver. What? When? How? will I heal what needs to be healed? Is it possible to walk through the ravaging emotions that lie dormant within so to heal and transform coming out the other side stronger
There is a mystical beauty in death. Death that comes at summer’s end. Bringing with it space for new growth. Death of preconceived notions of who you are. Allowing for expansion of the self into unimaginable possibilities. Remain open to the death of what no longer serves you. Filling the empty spaces with new experiences. new connections. a new way of being.
Each day is an opportunity to choose where to place our care. What shall we do today? What simple acts of remembrance will we use to punctuate our time and enrich our walk upon this earth this single day? Each day is an opportunity to live fully knowing we are not promised tomorrow. Each day is an opportunity to share a little sliver of our hearts with another.
